Do you realize what “1 laptop per child” means ?

In our days there is a trend .
All big companies try to make cheap laptops for children. Only there is one issue , children do not buy the laptops , they do not reach the kids . They reach all the tech freaks that are hungry for the latest gadgets

Anyway , back to our story .
Think of this , the 1 Laptop Per Child project somehow having success , and all our kids being able to buy cheap laptops so they can learn
Imagine those 2-3 billion laptops that in 3-4 years will get thrown away . Where do 2-3 billion laptops go ?
The Laptop Per Child project was created by the devil to speed up the destruction of Earth . (just kidding)

I am ok with this project, everyone should have the chance to learn , everyone should have an equal chance in life , but we need to think of ways to recycle these laptops . Millions of EeePC laptops and HP-Mini laptops , where do they all go ?

I will think of that later , after i will buy my own EeePC 900 . The recycling can wait :)


No really , we need to think of our future , we need to find ways to recycle all this tech stuff , so we can keep buying the gadgets we all love
