This Privacy Policy explains how TaterMind ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.
TaterMind is developed by TATERMIND, a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@tatermind.com.
Account information. When you first open TaterMind, we automatically create an anonymous account for you (via Firebase Authentication) so your progress can be saved. This account is identified by a randomly generated ID — it is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information unless you choose to link a Google account (see below).
Google account (optional). If you choose to back up your progress, you can link a Google account. We store your Google account email solely so we can restore your saved data if you reinstall the app or switch devices. We do not use this email for marketing, and we do not share it with anyone.
Gameplay data. To provide the core features of the app, we store:
Advertising identifier. TaterMind shows ads through Google AdMob to support free play. Depending on your consent choice (see "Ads and consent" below), AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android) to personalize ads. If you don't consent, or where consent is required by law and not given, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized to you.
Purchases. If you buy the optional "Remove ads" pack, the purchase is processed by the app store (Google Play, and Apple's App Store where available) and by RevenueCat, which we use to verify and track your purchase. We do not see or store your payment details (card number, etc.) — only a purchase/entitlement record confirming you've bought ad removal.
What we don't collect. TaterMind does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location, and does not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK beyond what's described above.

TaterMind relies on the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

iOS: The first time TaterMind would show a personalized ad, iOS will ask for your permission to allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency). You can change your answer anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your device.
Android / EEA / UK: If you're in a region where consent is required by law (such as the EEA or UK), TaterMind will show a consent form the first time you open the app, and you can revisit your choice anytime from Profile > Settings > Ad privacy options in the app.
Your gameplay data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us at support@tatermind.com with your in-app Player ID (found on your Profile screen) and we will delete your account data.
TaterMind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
